We continually speak about how lucky we are to have found the 80th. As you know, the family visited our father often and always found him to be beautifully cared for by your staff, both physically and emotionally. They seemed to go out of their way to look after Larry, and also make sure that our visits were pleasurable. It seemed clear to us that our father was in the safest and most caring hands, which gave us great peace of mind...
I cannot overstate the very high quality of care, individualized attention, kindness and respect that The 80th Street Residence is providing to my mother. Every team member starting with Clare Shanley and Lindsey Harbison is dedicated to the residents and readily accessible to their families. Just as importantly, the team members are skilled in making the transition for new patients a seamless, stress free and positive one. The daily activities and special programs are bringing so much pleasure to my mother who is thriving in The 80th Street Residence environment. I’d researched and visited many residences before I learned of The 80th Street Residence. It truly is a unique gem that I cannot recommend highly enough.

Dear Clare:
I write this letter to express my deepest admiration for the 80th Street Residence. More important than my admiration is my profound feeling of gratitude to you, Lindsey Harbison, and the entire staff at 80 Street.
My wife -Edith, who has had dementia for the past seven years, is thriving at your facility. My daughters and I almost gave up hope that we would ever see her smiling again, and now she is in good mood and smiling much of the time.
You are to be commended for the skill and training of the entire staff. Their warmth and kindness to all the residents is deeply appreciated. Please advise Mr. Kaplan and Mr. Morehead of my deepest gratitude to them for the work they have done in establishing a facility of such high standards and quality. If there is anything I could ever do to help them it would be my greatest pleasure. One day I hope to meet them.

Hi Debbie,
My name is Valerie and I'm one of the NYU students who has been volunteering at 80th Street. I would just like to say thank you kindly for providing me with the opportunity to complete my volunteer hours at your location. I would also like to commend you and your staff for the professional, loving care you provide for all the residents of 80th Street. Being the granddaughter of someone who is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease myself, I know just how valuable the care you provide is, especially in the peace of mind of family members who may not be able to personally care for them. After hearing some of the volunteering experiences my classmates have had I can honestly say that I was fortunate to find a place like 80th Street that warmly opened their doors for me, welcoming me and providing a one-of-a-kind experience that I wouldn't have otherwise experienced. Both residents and employees alike are endearing and I find myself eagerly looking forward to seeing them every week. There aren't words to accurately express my gratitude enough for this life-changing experience but I can only say I look forward to continue volunteering and getting to know, and love, the residents and employees of 80th Street Residence.
